We are an intergenerational circle of women.

We walk with our elders, teach each other plants and roots. 

We harvest while swopping stories of our heritage and medicines. 

We make balms, cleansing salts and alchemical soap.

The Beauty School is a project incubated by the McGregor Wisdom School and facilitated by Nicole Klassen and Gina Claasens. This project is born out of a series of dreams and the deep desire to revive and share our inherited wisdoms with the next generations in our village. We share knowledge, skills, and psychosocial support with our growing circle of women. It is our prayer that the wisdoms of the women of our lineages will ignite a sense of belonging, identity and purpose within the women such that they will know how to make a good life for themselves and their community, through beauty.
